About The Position

We are seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse to provide exceptional pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care within our busy Vascular Surgery practice. This position will primarily support pre-operative care with cross-training and responsibilities in our in-office Angiography Suite(s) and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at our Mesa location. The ideal candidate is a compassionate, responsible, and well-trained professional who can provide high-quality nursing care with minimal supervision. You must be able to remain calm under pressure, exercise sound clinical judgment, and consistently follow health and safety standards. Our goal is to promote patient well-being by delivering outstanding care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Compensation is dependent upon experience and will be discussed during the interview process.

Requirements

  • Current and active State of Arizona RN License
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • ACLS and BLS Certification
  • Minimum of 1 year Operating Room experience preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines (sanitation, decontamination, etc.)
  • Commitment to following HIPAA Privacy Rules at all times
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making ability
  • Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills
  • Advanced knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
  • Strong understanding of emergency care
  • Team-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Responsible, compassionate, and professional demeanor
  • Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking abilities

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive pre-operative assessments, including: Reviewing medical history Confirming medications Evaluating risk factors Ensuring all required testing and documentation are complete
  • Monitor patients’ conditions and assess their needs to provide optimal care and guidance
  • Observe and interpret patient symptoms and communicate findings to physicians/surgeons
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and surgeons to develop individualized care plans
  • Perform routine clinical procedures (vital signs, injections, IV placement, etc.) and maintain accurate patient documentation
  • Administer and adjust medications and treatments per physician/surgeon orders
  • Assist surgeons during procedures as needed
  • Provide immediate medical care during emergencies
  • Support patient recovery in the PACU setting
  • Maintain strict infection control and safety standards (sanitizing, decontamination, preparing patient areas)
  • Foster a compassionate, supportive environment for patients and their families
  • Participate in continuing education to expand clinical knowledge and skills
