About The Position

New Brunswick Counseling Center (NBCC) is a CARF-accredited, nonprofit provider of outpatient substance use and mental health services. We’re committed to respectful, high-quality care that supports recovery and wellness in our communities. NBCC is hiring a Part-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to support our Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) at our Mount Holly location. This position focuses on safe, patient-centered care during early morning dosing hours (5:45 AM – 12:00 PM). We’re looking for someone who can commit to at least two morning shifts per week. Occasional Saturday availability is a plus.

Requirements

  • Active New Jersey RN license (required)
  • Able to commit to two weekday morning shifts (5:45 AM – 12:00 PM) weekly
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in OTP, MAT, SUD, behavioral health, or similar settings preferred (not required)

Responsibilities

  • Complete nursing assessments for new admissions and readmissions
  • Provide safe medication administration/dispensing in compliance with NJ and federal OTP regulations
  • Document medication administration and patient encounters accurately and on time
  • Monitor for medication side effects/adverse reactions and report concerns promptly
  • Work closely with the Medical Director on dosing, adjustments, and clinical concerns
  • Perform on-site TB testing and other screenings as ordered
  • Monitor patient status and escalate significant changes appropriately
  • Provide first aid/emergency response when needed
  • Support and educate staff on patient medical needs
  • Maintain clear, timely clinical records
