About The Position

For more information, visit www.jobs.premisehealth.com. As a Part Time Registered Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Fort Worth, TX. The scheduled hours are Friday, 1:30p - midnight, 10-hours per week. There will be opportunities to pick up additional shifts Monday - Friday, days or evenings. Occupational Health exp preferred.

Requirements

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred.
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required.
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites.
• Occupational Health exp preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice.
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed.
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice.
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures.
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
