About The Position
Rome Health is currently seeking a Registered Nurse within our Medical Imaging Department, that will be committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care for patients and their families.
Requirements
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
- Current Registered Nurse License in New York State.
Nice To Haves
- BS in Nursing preferred.
- One-year work experience in acute care hospital desirable.
- Experience in Radiology nursing preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assessing, directing and coordinating patient care and procedures in the Radiology environment in an efficient, empathetic and timely manner appropriate to the age of patients served.
- Serving as a patient advocate and health teacher.
- Accurately carries out the medical regime as prescribed by the physician and according to departmental protocols.
- Demonstrating the ability to perform nursing functions utilizing the Nursing Process, Rome Health and Medical Imaging protocols, and appropriate regulations within the parameters of the Nurse Practice Act.
