About The Position

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation and emergency call lights, inside our skilled nursing center.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Registered nurse with a current license in community’s state.
• 6 months experience in geriatric nursing/ Long Term Care
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Can generate a warm, friendly, and caring manner on first impression.
• Can communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
• Can pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication and treatments to residents of our healthcare center.
• Assist with admission and discharge process
• Keep physician and family aware of change(s) in resident condition
• Make rounds with physicians and transcribes orders
• Assure continuity of services and care
