About The Position

Recovery Centers of America (RCA) is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team and contribute to patient recovery from substance use disorders. RCA prioritizes personalized, evidence-based treatment to guide individuals toward lasting recovery. Founded in 2015, RCA has treated over 77,000 patients and is on a mission to save one million lives from addiction. Their treatment centers operate 24/7, providing compassionate, evidence-based care. Requirements

  • An active RN license in [state]
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in behavioral health, addiction recovery, or 5 years of supervisory experience
  • Current BLS certification or the ability to obtain it during orientation.
  • Strong clinical judgment and the capacity to safely administer medications and proficiency in effectively managing medical and behavioral health emergencies such as suicide ideation and aggression.
  • Knowledge of health care, detoxification process, addiction, co-occurring disorders and DSM criteria and terminology.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to compassionate patient care.

Nice To Haves

  • Phlebotomy skills preferred.
  • CARN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake assessments through interviews with patients and relatives to gather case history.
  • Provide individualized care by conducting comprehensive patient assessments and developing tailored care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and case managers, to coordinate holistic patient care.
  • Educate patients and families on the nature of mental health disorders, the disease of addiction and the need for treatment.
  • Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate, confidential documentation.
  • Foster a safe and supportive environment that respects the dignity and diversity of all individuals.
