Requirements

Current and valid RN license in the state of practice
Strong understanding of safety-sensitive procedures and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Flexibility to work on an as-needed basis, including varied shifts

Nice To Haves

Proven experience in a clinical setting preferred
BLS and ACLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
Monitor patient conditions, assess needs, and document observations accurately
Administer medications and treatments safely and effectively
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and institutional policies, especially given the safety-sensitive nature of the role
Respond promptly to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
Uphold patient confidentiality and promote a safe, respectful environment
