About The Position
Deliver care to patients utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established philosophy. Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Effectively interact with patients, families, & visitors while maintaining the standard of professional nursing. Provides physical and psychological support to patients and families; Supervises assigned team members.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current RN license approved to work in the State of Arkansas by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.
- Must be current in BLS, ACLS and PALS.
- Maintains annual unit specific competencies and education fair
- Must be knowledgeable in pediatrics and medical-surgical patients of all ages.
- Must be able to report to work fit for duty and free of any adverse effects of illegal drugs, medical marijuana, prescription medication, and/or alcohol.
- Must be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with other individuals.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience preferred, but not required.
