About The Position

Where You Will Work: Medical and Telemetry Unit (4th floor) at Atrium Health University City is a 24-bed unit, with a 4-5:1 RN to patient ratio based on acuity. What You’ll Do: As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skill communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. About This Location: Atrium Health University City provides health care services in the University City, Mint Hill, North Mecklenburg and Southwest Cabarrus regions in North Carolina. The award-winning maternity center provides personalized support and education throughout pregnancy, delivery and recovery, while the Emergency Department has more than 65,000 patient visits every year. Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
