About The Position

This Registered Nurse - Extended Care Unit at the Community Living Center (within the Nursing service) located at the Brockton Campus. This is a full-time evening position at 40 hours per week with rotation to holidays and weekends. Incumbent works under the direction of the Nurse Manager. Incumbent is accountable for the delivery of care to patients with a variety of physical needs. Utilizes the nursing process in managing, developing, implementing and evaluating the patient's individual plan of care with the interdisciplinary team. Administers medication utilizing BCMA and documents treatments and patient care utilizing CPRS. Observes patients, reports changing conditions in a timely manner, completes patient care assignment, and maintains a safe, dignified environment.

Requirements

  • Current employees must submit copies of their most recent Sf-50, (Notice of Personnel Action). The SF-50 must identify the position title, series, grade, step, tenure and type of service (Competitive or Excepted). In some cases, more than one SF-50 may be required to show a higher grade previously held.
  • This position is in the Excepted Service.
  • Veterans preference does not apply for other current permanent Federal agency employees.
  • May be subject to satisfactory completion of our credentialing process.
  • 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory
