About The Position

Bluegrass Surgery and Laser Center is currently searching for a Full Time Registered Nurse to work Mondays – Fridays (4, 10-hour shifts). This role requires working cooperatively with staff and physicians and performing a variety of tasks. The major responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, assisting physicians during procedures, providing care for patients in recovery, and actively participating in all Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities. Candidates are expected to work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of patient care and utilize the nursing process to perform safe and individualized nursing care throughout the Pre-op, Intra-op, and post-operative process. Requirements

demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills
be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
have a current state license to practice as a registered nurse
maintain basic cardiac life support certification
maintain ACLS certification
Must pass a background check
Must pass a drug screen
