About The Position

Interim HealthCare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN ) to join our Community Staffing team! The position would be working with a home care client 1:1 providing quality care and will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and health of the client. Requirements

RN degree from an accredited school of nursing.
Current and valid RN license in the state of Minnesota.
Previous experience in geriatric nursing.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
A compassionate and empathetic approach to working with senior residents.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

Initial assessment and ongoing re-assessment of client's status.
Medication administration and management.
Providing quality healthcare following best practices
Provide support to the client's family members.
Coordinate and communicate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for residents.
Respond to medical emergencies promptly and efficiently, following established protocols and providing immediate care as needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting all assessments, interventions, and communications related to resident care.
Foster open and transparent communication with residents, their families, and staff to promote a positive and collaborative care environment.
