Requirements
- Experience in PACU!
- Current and appropriate state license(s) to practice as a Registered Nurse
- Maintain current and valid BLS certification
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Passionate about patient care and exercise sound judgement and an ability to remain professional in all situations.
- Demonstrate effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills and respect with patients, guests & colleagues.
- Have a structured work-approach, understand complex problems and you are able to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Administer injections and monitor patients during/post administration.
- Administer post-biopsy vital sign checks on patients where applicable.
- Access central lines/ports, initiate IV access.
- Draw lab specimens peripherally or via central line.
- Assist with Hypersensitivity Reactions; provide preliminary exam and vital signs in the event of accident/injury at the center.
