Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.

Nice To Haves

Must have periop knowledge and at least at one year of surgical/interventional radiology experience.

Responsibilities

Document the patient care journey with meticulous detail, recording conditions and communicating critical updates to the interdisciplinary team for timely intervention.
Coordinate all clinical and therapeutic disciplines to ensure a seamless, cohesive, and patient-centered experience from admission through discharge.
Call patient three days out for their schedule in the OR, IR, cath lab, angio, or EP study case to ensure patient is ready for surgery.
Work with anesthesia with protocol for appropriate clinical studies according to the patient's PMH.
Ensure charts are up to date.
