Requirements

• Current OR State RN license
• 2+ years of related nursing experience required
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC by start date

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care for assigned patients in the emergency department.
• Triages each patient and determines priority of care based on physical, psychological, and social needs as well as factors influencing patient flow through the emergency care system
• The Registered Nurse performs a focused assessment of the chief complaints of each patient promptly according to established triage guidelines.
• Registered Nurse's most important responsibility is understanding triage, which is a method of prioritizing injuries based on medical need
