About The Position

DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide acute care nephrology services in a hospital setting for patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney conditions. This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative role where the RN will work directly with patients in various acute care units including ICU, CCU, and ED. Responsibilities include delivering inpatient dialysis therapies such as hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis, collaborating with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff, monitoring patients, adjusting treatment, ensuring quality outcomes, and overseeing patient care with the help of PCTs. The role requires quick adaptation in a dynamic hospital environment. No prior dialysis experience is required as paid training will be provided. The RN will work in a variety of hospital units and rotate between facilities as needed. The schedule includes regular and on-call shifts, including weekends and holidays, and daily schedules may change based on patient needs.

Requirements

Current RN license in the state of practice
ADN required
Must pass a color vision test (accommodations available)
Full vaccination against COVID-19 may be required by hospitals in this program, which may include a booster when eligible

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred
ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg experience helpful but not required
CNN/CDN certification (preferred)
