About The Position

Quality Assurance Registered Nurse - 100% Remote Contract duration: 520 hour contract to hire Training Schedule: M-F, 4-6 weeks Contract Details Contract Duration: 520-hour contract-to-hire, long term opportunity Training Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4–6 weeks; between 8 AM–5 PM EST (subject to change) Compensation: $31.25/hr, Please note compensation is not negotiable for any of the roles below Compliance: Drug test + background check Start date: within 2-3 weeks Schedules Available: 4, 10s (must include a Saturday or Sunday) OR Sunday - Thursday (8 hour shifts) OR Tuesday - Saturday ( 8 hour shifts)

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality assurance review of peer review reports, correspondences, addendums, or supplemental reviews.
  • Ensure clear, concise, evidence-based rationales are provided in support of all recommendations and/or determinations.
  • Confirm client instructions and specifications are followed and all questions addressed.
  • Verify each review is supported by current clinical citations and references from reputable medical journals/publications.
  • Ensure content, format, and professional appearance of reports meet company standards.
  • Confirm appropriate board specialty review per client specifications or state mandates, documented accurately.
  • Verify peer reviewer attestation to facts and absence of conflict of interest.
  • Ensure provider credentials and signature are included in final report.
  • Identify inconsistencies and contact Peer Reviewer for clarification, modification, or correction.
  • Assist in resolving client complaints and quality assurance issues.
  • Ensure compliance with federal ERISA and state mandates.
  • Provide insight to management on consultant quality, availability, and compliance with policies/procedures.
  • Promote efficient utilization of company resources.
  • Participate in educational and training activities as required.
