Registered Nurse, Rehabilitation Description Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Part-Time Nights Shift: 6p-6:30a 24 hours/week Your Experience Matters – Lancaster Rehabilitation Hospital At Lancaster Rehabilitation Hospital, your passion for care is valued, supported, and empowered. Backed by Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health and Lifepoint Rehabilitation, our 59-bed inpatient hospital provides an advanced, patient-centered environment where your contributions make a lasting impact. Our team works together to treat individuals recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological disorders, orthopedic conditions, amputations, and complex medical conditions. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program.
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
CPR/BLS certification required

Nice To Haves

Minimum six months of Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
CRRN Preferred
Demonstrates strong clinical skills and commitment to safe, patient-centered care.
Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities

Administer medications safely, accurately, and based on patient age and clinical condition.
Minimize potential for medication errors by following proper medication administration procedures.
Assist the RN with initial assessments and patient reassessments per policy.
Identify and implement appropriate rehabilitation nursing interventions.
Perform timely and accurate Quality Improvement (QI) assessments under RN supervision.
Deliver care based on patient response to treatment and update the interdisciplinary plan accordingly.
Assess and reassess pain; use appropriate pain management techniques and educate patients and families.
Perform all patient care tasks in a manner that promotes patient safety and reduces medical errors.
Develop and implement individualized teaching plans based on patient and family learning needs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
