We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) Services program in Redding CA. Earn up to $49.54 per hour Position Details Comprehensive training provided The registered nurse (RN) will work within intermediate care facilities and adult residential facilities in the Redding area, conducting assessments for adult consumers with intellectual disabilities and medical complexities. Requirements

  • Degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in patient assessment, care plan development, and admission/discharge activities.
  • Ability to contribute to interdisciplinary programs and teach nursing curriculum to staff.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
  • 2 years’ experience in community health, long-term care, or working with developmentally disabled populations.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with doctors and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and assist staff with medical concerns.
  • Teach medication certification classes to staff.
  • Spend time between the office and the residential facilities, ensuring comprehensive care and support.
  • Oversee and monitor medication supplies.
  • Advise on the need for urgent care or hospital visits.
