Position Overview Nurses provide holistic and compassionate nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team to clients in a residential setting with a focus on treating Adult clients with eating disorders.

Requirements

  • Licensed as an RN in Minnesota
  • Must have valid driver’s license and be authorized to drive
  • Current Basic Life Support certification required (American Heart Association) within 30 days from date of hire
  • Experience or strong desire to work in a mental health setting

Responsibilities

  • Provides client care through assessment, monitoring, and intervention to address health concerns appropriately
  • Responsible with medication management including education, assessing adherence, administration in the residential setting, and monitoring for side effects in collaboration with provider
  • Assists and supports medical and psychiatric providers with medical care coordination
  • Recognizes and appropriately responds to medical and psychiatric to emergencies
  • Responsible for accurate and timely documentation in the client medical record
