Our Bone Marrow Transplant unit is a 12-bed unit located on the 5th floor of the new patient bed tower. This unit provides total comprehensive care to patients before, during, and after allogeneic transplants from peripheral blood, bone marrow, or umbilical cord blood from related and unrelated donors. We are the only cellular therapy and comprehensive stem cell transplant program in Oklahoma. We are also the only facility that offers CAR-T (chimeric antigen receptor T cell) therapy. An OU Health Registered Nurse (RN) I works under general supervision, providing the highest quality of care to patients in a hospital setting with health problems ranging from simple to complex.
