About The Position

Summary of Position: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Chapters Living. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to residents, assessing their health needs, and developing and implementing care plans to meet those needs.

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a registered nurse in a healthcare setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Basic computer skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMR)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in assisted living or long-term care is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assess residents' health needs, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate their effectiveness
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Provide wound care, catheter care, and other nursing interventions as necessary
  • Monitor and document residents' vital signs and medical history
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care
  • Educate residents and their families on health and wellness topics and disease management
  • Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training and professional development activities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
