About The Position

CentraCare invites passionate and skilled Registered Nurses to join our dynamic Neuroscience Spine team. Our Neuroscience Spine staff practice within the team nursing model and consider teamwork our greatest strength in providing safe, quality, and compassionate patient care. The Neuroscience Spine Unit is a 45-bed unit consisting of 8 Neuro Progressive Care Unit beds and 37 general neuroscience patient rooms. We treat patients who have had Neurosurgical, Neuro-interventional, and Neuro-medical diseases and disorders. In addition, we serve stroke, seizure, multiple trauma, and traumatic brain injury patients. As a step-down ICU and Neuro unit, no two days are alike. Awarded certification as a Comprehensive Stroke Center based on our strong commitment to provide evidence-based, quality stroke care. Our roots go back to 1886 when St. Cloud Hospital was built to serve the health care needs of people living in Central Minnesota. In 1995, CentraCare was formed, which today includes eight hospitals in St. Cloud, Long Prairie, Melrose, Monticello, Paynesville, Redwood Falls, Sauk Centre and Willmar. We also have more than 30 clinics, 11 senior housing facilities and seven long-term care facilities throughout the area. CentraCare has grown to meet the needs of the communities and is now one of the largest health systems in Minnesota.
