Registered Nurse, GYN practice, Chadds Ford, PA
About The Position
ChristianaCare is currently seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for our GYN practice located at 161 Wilmington West Chester Pike, Chadds Ford, PA. This position will provide both patient care and telephone triage support for Concord Women's Health GYN. Work Schedule Monday-Friday, day shift, no weekends or holidays Position Highlights Provides telephone triage support for a well established Women's Health Practice. There are a total of 6 providers at Concord Women's Health GYN. Obtains authorizations for tests, procedures and medications. Applies critical thinking skills and women's health experience to help patient's navigate questions and concerns. Responsible for a variety of tasks including, but not limited to nurse visits, blood draws, blood pressure checks, injections and patient education.
Requirements
- A graduate of a state approved or National League of Nursing accredited School of Nursing.
- Two years’ experience as a RN, physician office experience preferred.
- Current RN licensure to practice in Pennsylvania.
- BLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred; ADN considered with agreement of completion of BSN in 3 years.
- Experience with hormone replacement therapy options, birth control management, and GYN surgeries is preferred.
