Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina
- Minimum of 6 months RN experience in a long-term care, assisted living, or SNF setting
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist residents with mobility
- Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with EMR systems is a plus
- CPR certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care and clinical oversight in accordance with facility protocols
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Perform assessments, monitor conditions, and update care plans
- Supervise LPNs, CNAs, and other care staff during shifts
- Communicate with physicians, families, and facility leadership about resident needs
- Ensure proper documentation of care and incidents
- Uphold infection control, safety procedures, and compliance with state regulations
- Participate in care team meetings and shift handoffs
- Support a compassionate, respectful care environment for all residents
