Requirements

Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN licensein California
Minimum of oneyearof nursing experience in a medicalfacility
BLS certification
Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws andregulations
Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills,good communicator and compassionate

Responsibilities

Care for patients with a variety of illnesses, injuries anddiseases in facilities such as clinics, medical offices, assistedliving facilities, nursing homes, hospitals and schools
Work with a team of physicians and oversee LPNs, CNAs and aidesproviding patient care
Examine patients, conduct assessments, document condition andreport changes to physician
Review, interpret, transcribe and carry out physician ordersfor patients
Administer medication, operate medical equipment and maintain asafe environment
