Requirements

Graduated from an Accredited Nursing program
Current license to practice nursing in Louisiana or (eligible to receive or renew).

Nice To Haves

Preferred experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting.

Responsibilities

Completes nursing assessment thoroughly and in a timely manner within facility guidelines. Assessment includes all required screenings and components.
Communicates effectively with physicians and ensures orders are accurate and carried out accordingly.
Accurately documents on treatment plan illustrating patient progress or need for additional problem or intervention identification.
Follows policy and procedure and involves next line of leadership as needed to resolve issues.
Intervenes appropriately in crisis situations.
