About The Position

RN performs functions of assessing; planning, implementing and evaluating care for assigned behavioral health patients on the Geri Psych unit during shift. RN is responsible for managing all assigned personnel, supplies and equipment. RN is responsible for promotion of collaboration with all members of the health care team. RN Care Team Leader develops a work plan and provides clear directions and expectations for the care partner.

Requirements

• NC Board of Nursing (NCBON) licensure - evidence of the individual's NCBON license is acceptable to demonstrate their academic achievement. RN or LPN.
• BLS at time of hire from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• De-escalation training (within 30 days)

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred
• Previous Patient Care Experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs functions of assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for assigned behavioral health patients on the Geri Psych unit during shift

• Supports Iredell Davis Behavioral Health with high standards for communication, collaboration, change management and engagement, provider relations
• Adheres to staffing plans
