About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in alignment with the hospital's mission, values, policies, and procedures. Patient care services encompass individuals across the lifespan, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, or willingness to obtain within one year of hire.
- Two years of perioperative or emergency room nursing experience preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of perioperative or emergency room nursing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support patients in progressing safely and efficiently through their hospitalization.
- Foster positive communication and collaboration with patients, families, and members of both interdepartmental and intradepartmental teams.
- Maintain and continuously enhance professional knowledge, skills, and competencies.
