About The Position

As a Registered Nurse, you’ll play a critical role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, acquired brain injuries, and complex medical or behavioral needs—helping them live healthier, more independent lives. In this role, you will provide hands-on nursing care, clinical oversight, and training to ensure the highest level of health and safety for the individuals we serve.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program
• Active RN license in Maryland
• At least 1 year of experience working with medically complex individuals preferred
• Current CPR/First Aid certification
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance (if transporting individuals)
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

• Delegating Nurse experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial medical assessments and support intake/admissions decisions
• Develop, implement, and oversee individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians
• Monitor and update nursing care plans and medical documentation
• Administer medications and ensure accurate medication records
• Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams
• Attend medical appointments as needed
• Support individuals with chronic or high-risk medical conditions
• Promote preventative care, health education, and overall wellness
• Provide medical skills training to staff, caregivers, and families
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards
• Participate in on-call rotation and team meetings as needed
