Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status. Implements the nursing process by delivering effective relationship based nursing care. Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes. Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations. Develops self and contributes to the professional practice of nursing. Displays leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace. 100%25 travel to the patients homes for care. Full time days. Monday-Friday with rotating weekends and holidays. The territory for this RN position will be: City of Cleveland, Garfield, Shaker Hts., Euclid, Richmond Hts., Cleveland Hts., Mayfield Hts., Beachwood, Pepper Pike, Lyndhurst, University Hts., South Euclid, Bedford, Solon, Maple Hts., Twinsburg, Hudson, Chagrin Falls, Macedonia, Northfield and Pennisula. 30 visits per week. University Hospitals is offering a $6,000 sign on bonus, minus applicable taxes, for designated regular full-time RN positions to experienced RN’s (1 years or more) hired externally. Internal Applicants are not eligible for the sign on bonus.
