About The Position

Sentara CarePlex Hospital located in Hampton, Virginia is hiring a Traveler for a Temporary Full Time Registered Nurse on the Intermediate Care / Stepdown Unit. Day Shift Pay $70/hour Click on the link to learn more about the IMCU Team https://youtu.be/9KgePuU9gXE Department/Position Overview: This 24-bed Unit is where we care for patients with a variety of healthcare needs. We are the designated Stroke Unit. We provide for Respiratory compromised patients on Bipap, High-flo and/or Chronic Long Term vents. We manipulate and titrate vasoactive infusions and have bedside monitors. We provide care for patients with DKA, CHF, Pneumonia, and much more. Sentara CarePlex Hospital, located in Hampton, VA, is a 224-bed technologically advanced, acute care facility, and Certified Primary Stroke Center. Other features include specialized services in heart and vascular, urologic care, along with advanced diagnostic and surgical capabilities, a hospitalist program, and one of the state's busiest emergency departments. Requirements

Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required
Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
Basic Life Support (BLS)
ACLS
Must have two or more years of current acute care hospital RN experience.
