About The Position

CentraCare has an incredible opportunity in the Rice Memorial Hospital Cancer Center for a skilled nurse to join their team! The Cancer Center is an outpatient department within the hospital. Responsible for direct/indirect patient care and teaching through the nursing process. Provides care to patients under direction of provider within scope of practice. Maintains emergency equipment and other resources needed to provide safe, high quality patient care. Schedule Part-time, 48 hours every 2 weeks Monday through Friday, 7:30AM to 4:00PM

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Minnesota.
• AED/CPR training required.
• Communication/documentation skills.
• Nursing Assessment skills
• Comprehensive clinical nursing knowledge, personal management and crisis management.
• To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position.
• Previous CentraCare employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
• Must accept a position that offers benefits.
• Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from Willmar, Minnesota and relocate to within 30 miles any time before and no later than 120 days after you start work.
• May not have worked for CentraCare in the past nine months.

Nice To Haves

• Acquire Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) cert in Radiation Oncology, preferred, not required.
• Minimum one year of experience in field preferred, not required.
