About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room provides immediate, high-quality nursing care to patients of all ages presenting with urgent, emergent, and life-threatening conditions. The ER RN performs rapid assessments, prioritizes care, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida
- Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) American Heart Association required or obtained within a specified timeframe
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience required
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-pressure environment
- Knowledge of emergency nursing protocols and trauma care
- Proficiency in IV insertion, medication administration, and cardiac monitoring
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift, push, or pull patients and equipment
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity required
Nice To Haves
- Prior Emergency Room, ICU, or Critical Care experience strongly preferred
