Registered Nurse
About The Position
DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide dialysis care in a hospital setting for patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney conditions. This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative role where the RN will work directly with patients in various acute care units such as ICU, CCU, and ED. No prior dialysis experience is required as paid training will be provided. The role involves working in a variety of hospital units and rotating between facilities as needed, with a schedule that includes regular and on-call shifts, weekends, and holidays, and daily schedules that may change based on patient needs. The position offers an opportunity to be part of a clinical leader in kidney care, delivering critical, life-sustaining care.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- ADN required
- Must pass a color vision test (accommodations available)
- Full vaccination against COVID-19 may be required by hospitals in this program, which may include a booster when eligible
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred
- ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg experience helpful but not required
- CNN/CDN certification (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Deliver inpatient dialysis therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis
- Collaborate with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff
- Monitor patients, adjust treatment, and ensure quality outcomes
- Support and oversee patient care with the help of PCTs
- Adapt quickly in a dynamic hospital environment
