About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Imaging Location: Puyallup, WA Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 10-hour shifts (x4) (no weekends or holidays) Compensation: $43.00 – $63.03 per hour (depending on experience) Sign-On Bonus: $7,500 for qualified external candidates About Cardiac Study Center / Pulse Heart Institute Cardiac Study Center (CSC) has been a trusted provider of outpatient cardiology services for over 50 years across the Puget Sound region. Our work culture values integrity, patient-centered care, and professional growth. Position Summary We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Imaging team in Tacoma. In this role, you will support a multidisciplinary care team in performing cardiac diagnostic procedures such as stress tests and echocardiograms, manage clinical documentation, and support patients through their cardiac imaging journey. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses with strong cardiac or diagnostic imaging backgrounds who thrive in structured, high-acuity outpatient environments.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Active WA State RN license
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year of experience in cardiology, ICU, PCU, or Emergency Department
  • 2+ years of experience in a hospital or outpatient clinic setting
  • Familiarity with EKG rhythm interpretation and cardiac stress protocols
  • Confident and comfortable with a strong degree of autonomy in your role

Responsibilities

  • Triage abnormal test results and coordinate patient follow-up
  • Support and administer stress echocardiograms and nuclear stress tests
  • Start and manage IVs, administer medications as needed during procedures
  • Collaborate with providers and imaging staff to ensure patient safety and readiness
  • Educate patients on testing procedures and care expectations
  • Document all care and communication in the electronic medical record system
  • Participate in quality improvement and policy implementation initiatives
