About The Position

C2 Medical Observation is a 20 bed ED medical observation unit that serves adult populations 18-100+. C2 provides care for a wide variety of patient diagnosis’ with the top being chest pain, abdominal pain and renal calculi

Requirements

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
• For those hired into an RN position after January 1, 2009, it is required to obtain a BSN within ten years of their start date as an RN.
• For those hired into an RN position after January 1st, 2015, it is required to obtain a BSN within 5 years of start date
• Experience in the clinical area in which application has been made is desirable.
• Is a self-directed professional with the ability to make independent judgments directing patient care.
• Demonstrates ability in using the computer with Windows format preferred.
• Licensed RN in the State of Michigan
• Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
• MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.

Nice To Haves

• For those hired into an RN position prior to January 1, 2009, it is encouraged to obtain a BSN.
• Certification in the specialty area of practice is also encouraged.
