Registered Nurse- Elliot 1-Day Surgery Center- Full Time (32 hours/week)
About The Position
The Elliot 1 Day Surgery Center is currently looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. As an RN at the surgery center, you would be responsible for providing patient care during surgical procedures and post-operative recovery. You will assess patient condition before and after surgeries, administer medications, perform wound care, and monitor vital signs. Additionally, you would provide educational resources to patients about pre-surgical testing and post-operative care. You will also work closely with the surgeons and other healthcare providers to ensure that patient safety is upheld at all times. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong commitment to providing quality patient care.
Requirements
- Operating Room experience is strongly preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- New Hampshire Registered Nurse or Compact State Registered Nurse License.
- Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred.
- ACLS preferred.
