About The Position

The Armed Forces Retirement Home (AFRH) in Washington, DC needs a Registered Nurse to help dispense medications to residents. Resident population includes Long Term Care, Memory Support, Assisted Living, Independent Living Plus, and Independent Living. The current average age for population is 85. Duties: Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications and collecting and processing specimens. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each resident Utilize electronic medical records (EMRs) to accurately document patient information and communicate effectively with the healthcare team

Requirements

• Registered Nurse licensed in the State of contract performance (Washington, DC)
• Experience working with the geriatric community.
• Contractor personnel performing services at AFRH under this contract shall be free of communicable disease.
• All Contractor employees are required to undergo background security investigations to ensure suitability for employment with a federal entity
