Lorien Health Services is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) to join their award-winning team at Lorien Columbia. The facility provides a full range of services, including skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and outpatient therapy, and is home to the only Korean nursing unit in Howard County. With 215 beds across five nursing units and plans to expand with a new unit, Lorien Columbia continues to grow while staying true to its mission of providing exceptional care. Requirements

• Maryland RN license, valid and in good standing

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive resident assessments and ongoing evaluations
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies per physician orders
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes in health status
• Accurately document care, assessments, and outcomes in the EHR
• Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• Communicate effectively with residents and families
• Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs; delegate tasks appropriately
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and CMS long-term care regulations
• Follow infection control, safety, and quality standards
• Participate in admissions, discharges, and care plan meetings
• Promote resident rights, dignity, and person-centered care
• Respond to emergencies and advocate for resident safety and well-being
