Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Behavioral Health (0.75 FTE) Location: Main Campus, La Crosse, WI ï¸ Department: Inpatient Behavioral Health (IBH) Schedule: 60 hours per two weeks | Rotating 12-hour Day/Night shifts (0630-1900 / 1830-0700) Every third weekend | Two holidays per year Why Join Us? Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (minimum)
- Required: Active and unencumbered RN license to practice in the state of Wisconsin
- Current Infant-Adult BLS for Health Care Providers
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Preferred: 1+ year of RN experience, ideally in mental health
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, trauma-informed and evidence-based care to patients experiencing acute mental health crisis.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, NPs, RNs, behavioral health specialists, CNAs, social workers, therapists, clergy, and addiction counselors.
- Support patients through crisis stabilization, medication management, and therapeutic interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
