What You'll Do The Psychiatric RN will provide professional nursing care to patients according to hospital policy and procedure; will assess patient care needs, plan and implement nursing care procedures, evaluate patient progress and modify care plans as necessary; will educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery; will direct the work of nursing support staff through the use of appropriate delegation and supervision skills; will collaborate with physicians and behavioral health professionals to ensure quality care.
Requirements
- ADN or BSN from an accredited institution
- Valid Arizona RN license in good standing
- Must be 21 years or older
- Able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Eligible for Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Active RN License (Required)
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients according to hospital policy and procedure
- Assess patient care needs
- Plan and implement nursing care procedures
