About The Position

Serves as a reliable point of contact for Patients, Families and Providers. The Nurse for the Multidisciplinary Neuroscience Center supports patients from a variety of clinics, including Refractory Epilepsy, Spasticity and Gait Disorders, the Goryeb Neuro-Oncology Program, Neuromuscular Disorders, and Plagiocephaly clinics. The nurse is responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help monitor patients, keeps record, consult with healthcare providers, educates patients and more.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
  • Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
  • Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
  • Records patient vital signs and medical information.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
