About The Position

Tellurian, Inc. is seeking to fill a part-time Registered Nurse opening. This position would be located in Madison, WI and would be between 20-25 hours per week.

Requirements

• Nursing Degree
• 3 or more years of related experience
• Licensure as a Nurse in the State of Wisconsin
• Pass a criminal background check and be free of offenses prohibiting employment under HSF12 at the time of employment, and annually thereafter.
• Comprehensive knowledge of nursing standards and practices.
• Knowledge of current medical practices as they relate to the client population.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and various publics and engender a team atmosphere.
• Ability to assess persons quickly, clearly and concisely to determine medical needs.
• Knowledge of resources in applicable county and other locales for referral purposes.
• Knowledge of supervisory principles and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing services to clients according to medical standards.
• In specific programs, supervise shift and work of human services staff.
• Intervene and assess crisis situations and establish priorities in emergency and non-emergency situations.
• Assess/evaluate and admit or refer persons to appropriate services.
• Maintain a safe, clean and secure environment for clients and staff.
• Maintain effective working relationships with all staff.
• Act as primary liaison on shift with referral agencies.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
