About The Position

Our healthcare facility is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a current MN License as a Registered Nurse and preference will be given to those with experience in a geriatric long-term care setting. As an RN, you will work effectively with minimal supervision, possess strong communication skills, and have the ability to lead a group of people in completing tasks. You will also have knowledge of standards of nursing practice and awareness of standards for compliance with state and federal regulations.

Requirements

Current MN License as a Registered Nurse
Experience in a geriatric long-term care setting preferred
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
Strong communication skills and ability to lead a group of people in completing tasks
Knowledge of standards of nursing practice and awareness of standards for compliance with state and federal regulations

Responsibilities

Provide quality nursing care to our geriatric long-term care residents
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Monitor and document resident progress and notify physicians of any changes in condition
Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
Maintain accurate and complete medical records
Complete marketing duties as assigned by the Administrator
Maintain good relations with physicians, clinics, social workers, etc.
