Registered Nurse - Weekends
About The Position
As a KVC Missouri RN, you will provide immediate, routine and emergency care for children in a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility setting. The RN Weekend Option for KVC Missouri works two 12-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday and get paid for three per week. This is a full-time position and eligible for PTO and benefits. KVC Missouri is a nonprofit child placing and behavioral health agency with a long legacy of compassionately serving children and families. KVC Missouri's Residential Treatment program offers therapeutic services in a 24/7-supervised facility for children and teenagers with acute emotional and behavioral problems. Requirements
- Associates Degree
- Registered Nurse Licensure in the State of Missouri
- Must be 21 years old to apply
- Pre-employment drug screen required

Responsibilities
- provide immediate, routine and emergency care for children in a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility setting
- help determine the need for medical attention
- communicate with case managers or treatment team in charge of the patient’s physical health
- transcribe and administer medications
- attend to minor injuries or accidents
- assist physicians and staff as needed
