About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Emergency Department team for a night shift position in Ithaca, NY. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient- and family-centered care, actively participate in individualized care planning, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional outcomes for emergency patients.

Requirements

• Active RN license (state-specific)
• Minimum 2 years recent clinical experience (Emergency or Acute Care preferred)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills

Nice To Haves

• PALS and TNCC preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care, including triage, assessments, and critical interventions
• Monitor patient conditions and update care plans accordingly
• Collaborate with providers, case managers, crisis evaluators, social workers, and ED technicians
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation
• Participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives
• Adhere to hospital policies and patient safety protocols
