About The Position

Aspire Rural Health Systems is seeking a full time RN to work at the Tuscola County Jail. We are looking for those with a great attitude to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals who are constantly striving to provide our patients with the highest quality of services. Responsibilities: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care to incarcerated individuals within a county jail setting. This role ensures the delivery of safe, effective, and legally compliant healthcare services while maintaining security protocols. The RN collaborates with correctional staff and healthcare providers to address acute, chronic, and emergency medical needs of the inmate population. All other duties as assigned. Requirements

Current RN license in MI (required)
BLS/ACLS required or obtained within 6 months of hire.
CAMMP obtained within one year of hire.
Experience in triage, acute care, or mental health is highly preferred.
Provide essential care such as health screenings, chronic disease management, and emergency response.
Ensure access to care through patient advocacy and management of critical healthcare functions like medication management.
Independently perform full range of duties.
