About The Position
Registered Nurse ensuring appropriate medical care to the people we serve, directly or through an LPN, by: performing skilled nursing duties; providing training, direction, and assistance to direct care staff; communicating and enforcing medical policies and procedures; providing oversight to certified staff in the administration of medication.
Requirements
- Current New York State Registered Nurse license
- One (1) year nursing experience
- Valid New York State driver’s license that meets the Agency’s driving policy and reliable transportation
- Ability and willingness to travel to various Intandem locations to perform skilled nursing duties
- Ability to demonstrate empathy and sensitivity to the physical and psychological needs of the people we serve
- Effective communication effectively orally and in writing
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred.
