About The Position
Beacham Memorial/Freedom Behavioral is seeking full-time Registered Nurses for their Psych unit. The Registered Nurse operates under the direct supervision of the unit nurse manager and is responsible for providing quality patient care. This role requires demonstrating the knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate care, understanding principles of growth and development, assessing patient data, interpreting information to identify age-specific needs, and delivering necessary care.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse's license in good standing with the State of Mississippi
- CPR certified
Nice To Haves
- ACLS not required but helpful
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent care to patients
- Perform under the direct supervision of the unit nurse manager
- Achieve quality patient care
- Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served
- Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development
- Possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status
- Interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age specific needs
